Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham starrer action thriller film Pathaan is all set for an explosive extended opening weekend. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan continues to entertain the audience on its third day as well.
After making a humongous first day collection Rs 57 crore (Hindi 55 cr, Tamil and Telugu 2 cr) at the box office, Pathaan minted Rs 70.50 crore (Hindi 68 cr, Tamil and Telugu 2.50 cr) on Thursday.
On Friday, it had witnessed a minor drop in footfalls and raked the business of Rs 39.25 crore nett (Hindi 38 cr, Tamil and Telugu 1.25 cr). Now, the total collections of the film has become approximately Rs 166.75 crore nett (Hindi 161 cr, Tamil and Telugu 5.75 cr).
Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s first lead role since 2018’s Zero, is an action thriller set in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe. Pathaan stars SRK in the title role of a RAW agent who teams up with Deepika Padukone’s ISI agent to tackle a terror threat from the villainous Jim, played by John Abraham.
Pathaan has released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in 5500 screens. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana.
