Hrithik Roshan, Mrunal Thakur, Virendra Saxena, Nandish Singh and Pankaj Tripathi starrer Super 30 continues to set new benchmarks at the box office. Despite entering in its fourth week, the film is performing much better than new Bollywood releases.
Super 30 is directed by Vikas Bahl, who previously helmed Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Shaandaar. Super 30 is based on the life of award-winning mathematician from Bihar, Anand Kumar. Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Anand, who rises to fame for training underprivileged children for IIT entrance examinations.
The Hindi biopic drama has got succeed to entertain many in theatres and gathered a positive word of mouth. In the last 3 weeks, it had registered the business of 131.65 crores with 75.85 crores in the first, 37.86 crores the second and 17.94 crores in the third week.
In the fourth weekend, at a decent note, Super 30 had bagged the amount of 6.28 crores that included 0.96 crore on Friday, 2.10 crore on Saturday & 3.22 crore on Sunday. Then on weekdays as well, it remained stable despite a normal drop in footfalls.
On 4th Monday, Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment & Reliance Entertainment’ production had witnessed a drop of 12% vis-a-vis 4th Friday and minted the amount of 0.85 crore. While with a similar response on 4th Tuesday, it managed to collect 0.81 crore.
On 4th Wednesday, Super 30 recorded a jump and bagged the amount of 0.85 crore. On the next day i.e. 4th Thursday, Super 30 garnered the amount of 0.80 crore and raised its 4 weeks total collection to 141.24 crores nett at the domestic box office.
