Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi is spreading its magic since the day of its release. After facing competition from Bunty Aur Babli 2 previous week, will share screens with Satyameva Jayate 2 and Antim: The Final Truth this week. It would be very interesting to see how this movie will hold up.
Directed by hit-machine Rohit Shetty, the Hindi cop-drama co-stars Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh has got succeed to entertain many in theatres and gathered a positive word of mouth. As a result, it did a solid business of Rs 120.67 crores in the first week.
In the second week as well, Sooryavanhi had managed to remain super-strong and had raked the business of Rs 45.58 crores. Then in the third weekend, at a decent note, it had bagged the amount of Rs 12.36 crores that included Rs 3.26 crores on Friday, Rs 3.77 crores on Saturday & Rs 5.33 crores on Sunday.
On weekdays, Reliance Entertainment’s presentation has managed to stay steady. On 3rd Monday, the film had minted the amount of Rs 1.88 crores. Then with a normal drop, it had scored Rs 1.70 crores on 3rd Tuesday & Rs 1.56 crores on 3rd Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. 3rd Thursday, Sooryavanshi has recorded a decline and done the business of 1.18 crores. After 3 weeks, the total collection of the film has become 184.93 crores nett at the domestic box office.
