The forthcoming film OMG: Oh My God 2,’ starring Akshay Kumar, is expected to be released exclusively on the OTT platform. Directed by Amit Rai, it is being sold to an OTT partner, and the producers intend to release it directly on the digital platform rather than go for a theatrical release.
As per a report by LetsCinema, makers of Akshay Kumar starrer Oh My God 2 are opting for a direct-to-digital release. The producers of the upcoming sequel are opting to release it either on Voot or Jio.
For the unversed, bankrolled by Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl, & Ashwin Varde, the film will star along with Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Arun Govil & Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.
OMG 2 is a sequel to OMG: Oh My God released in the year 2012 and went on to become a blockbuster.
The film’s first look posters were released in 2021 and it was expected that the movie would be released in 2022. Earlier, also there have been reports that OMG 2 will get an OTT release. However, till now, there’s no official announcement about it.
