Urvashi Rautela, Karan Wahi and Vivan Bathena starrer Hate Story 4 is running smoothly at the box office. The film which released on March 9 has been facing competition from Renuka Sahane’s comeback film 3 Storeys and Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Salim’s romantic comedy Dil Junglee.
However, the Vishal Pandya directorial has managed to crush the other projects and is currently leading at the ticket counters. Hate Story 4 which has not received rave reviews from the critics, has still managed to collect a total of Rs 12.57 crore on its opening weekend.
On the first day, Vishal Pandya’s directorial opened on a slow note than Hate Story 3 & Hate Story 2 across India and registered an average opening of 3.76 crores after showing some growth over the evening and night shows in metro cities.
On Saturday, it took a decent jump and did the business of 4.19 crores. Then on Sunday, Hate Story 4 remained almost steady and minted the amount of 4.62 crores. After the weekend, the total collection of the movie had recorded 12.57 crores across India.
Now Hate Story 4 has stepped in on weekdays and faced more than a usual drop in footfalls. On Monday, it got dropped by 55% than Friday and minted the amount of 2.09 crores. With this, its 4 days total collection has become 14.66 crores at the domestic box office.
The music for the film’s soundtrack album is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Mithoon, Tony Kakkar and Baman while lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir, Kumaar, Rashmi Virag, Shabbir Ahmed and Kumaar.
