War2 is the next explosive chapter in Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, following hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 promises to be a cinematic spectacle, uniting two titans of Indian cinema—Hrithik Roshan, reprising his role as the suave and deadly Kabir, and Jr NTR, making his Bollywood action franchise debut.
On May 16, Hrithik Roshan, took to his social media platforms to announce that he is planning an explosive birthday celebration for NTR on May 20, 2025.
He wrote, “Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready? #War2.”
War 2 also stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady, with music by hitmaker Pritam. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the film is slated for a release on August 14, 2025 in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil.
