Hrithik Roshan has suffered a leg injury and the shooting of the dance-off has been pushed to May 2025 with War 2 confirmed to release on August 14th, 2025. According to sources, doctors advised him to avoid making things worse and recommended him for a four-week rest period to allow his leg to heal.
A report in Bollywood Hungama mentioned, “Hrithik pushed himself during the rehearsals of an energetic song that was planned with Jr. NTR for War 2. During his practice, he got a niggle in his leg. When the doctors inspected Hrithik’s injury, they advised him not to risk it further and to rest his leg before he shoots this massive song.”
The source adds, “The mega War 2 dance off song featuring Hrithik and NTR Jr. will now be shot in May! All the principal actors have finished their respective shoots and the film is already in post production. This minor bump isn’t derailing any promotion/marketing plans of the film. War 2 will release theatrically worldwide on August 14th, 2025!”
War 2 is the latest addition to the YRF Spy Universe. It is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War. Ayan Mukerji takes the director’s chair, succeeding Siddharth Anand.
The film boasts an impressive cast, including Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani in a key role.
