The action thriller Spy marks Nikhil Siddhartha’s return to the big screen after his unexpected pan-Indian hit Karthikeya 2 last year. The movie’s official trailer, which was just released, shows that it will be a thrilling big-screen experience.
The trailer opens with a statement saying ‘history never tells us the truth, it will be hidden, and we need to search for the answer’. The film revolves around a spy’s journey to track down the most wanted terrorist. After a red alert is sent to all the agents in the country, they set out on a search to find the man who is not only dangerous but also possesses one of the most treasured things, Netaji Files. While no one is aware of the content in those files, the agents have to track down those that have the potential to harm the innocent.
Spy also stars Iswarya Menon as the leading lady, along with Aryan Rajesh, and Sanya Thakur in important roles. The cast also includes Abhinav Gomatam, Makrand Deshpande, Jisshu Sengupta, Nitin Mehta, Ravi Varma, Krishna Teja, Prisha Singh, Sonia Naresh among others.
K Rajashekhar Reddy is producing the movie on Ed Entrainments along with Charantej Uppalapati as CEO. Producer K Rajashekhar Reddy has also written the story for this venture.
Sricharan Pakala and Vishal Chandrasekhar have scored the music and handled the cinematography respectively, while Garry BH will also be editing the movie. SPY will be releasing in all South Indian languages as well as in Hindi on June 29.
