Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 1: Salman Khan’s Film Opens Decently With Mixed Reviews

Sikandar 1st day box office collection: Salman Khan’s latest film, Sikandar, hit theaters on March 30, 2025, with massive anticipation and excitement surrounding its release. Fans of the Bollywood superstar were eager to see his latest outing on the big screen. However, despite the excitement and anticipation, the film have received a mixed response from both critics and audiences.

Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 1: Salman Khan's Film Opens Decently With Mixed Reviews

On its opening day, Sikandar managed to rake in an estimated Rs 30.06 crore at the domestic box office. While this figure may seem substantial for many films, it falls short of expectations for a Salman Khan film, especially considering his star power and the high anticipation prior to release.

For comparison, Tiger 3, Salman Khan’s previous film, had an opening day collection of Rs 44.50 crore, a figure that set a very high bar for his future releases. Sikandar also struggled to surpass the opening numbers of Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, which opened with Rs 33.10 crore.

Additionally, upcoming holiday weekends and festival periods often boost cinema attendance, which may further benefit Sikandar’s box office numbers. Salman Khan’s films have traditionally performed better during such times, so there could be hope for an upswing in its collections.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar also features Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Kishore, Jatin Sarna and Sanjay Kapoor.
