Satyaprem Ki Katha box office collection day 6: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer SPKK had released on the occasion of Eid, on June 29. The film had picked up over the weekend, especially on Sunday.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, Satyaprem Ki Katha has made Rs 9.25 crore in Thursday, followed by Rs 7 cr on its second day (Friday) and Rs 10.10 crore and Rs 12.15 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Then on weekdays, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures’ production recorded a usual drop in footfalls but still scored well with Rs 4.21 crores on Monday. On Tuesday, romantic drama has maintains steady pace and minted an amount of 4.05 crores and has put up a total of Rs 46.76 crores at the domestic box office.
Written by Karan Shrikant Sharma, Satyaprem Ki Katha revolves around Satyaprem or Sattu, a grown-up jobless man who hopes to get married to Katha. Katha is the daughter of a well-known businessman whereas Sattu does household chores with his father. Sattu’s mother and sister, on the other hand, earn money to run the household.
Apart from Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, the film also features Rajpal Yadav, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randeria, Nirrmite Sawant, and Shikha Talsania in significant roles.
