Satyaprem Ki Katha Review: A Romantic Tale With Strong Performance

Story: Satyaprem aka Sattu is a goofy, good-hearted, good for nothing boy in his early to mid-thirties who has failed his law bar exam multiple times and has given up hopes of clearing it, as a result of which he has no option but to do the household chores, along with his father Narayan Bhai, who has not done anything major in his life either.

Satyaprem wants to get married but since he’s not earning, no one is ready to tie the knot with him. He is meanwhile besotted with Katha (Kiara Advani). He met her a year before during Navratri. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Performance: Speaking of performances, Kartik Aaryan is in a top form and his dialogue delivery, expressions everything so good. Kiara Advani is gorgeous in every frame and provides an outstanding performance. Gajraj Rao lives up to the expectations and perform well. Supriya Pathak, Siddharth Randeria, Anuradha Patel and other supporting characters are decent. Shikha Talsania has limited screen time but does well.

Direction & Music: Karan Shrikant Sharma has written an absolutely original story that touches your heart. Director Sameer Vidwans has managed all the sections masterly and made a film that keeps you charged from beginning to the end. Music is Fantastic because all songs appear on perfect situations and that’s why doesn’t look boring.

Final Words: Overall, Satyaprem Ki Katha is a perfect tale of comedy, emotions with strong message. Easily this can be watched with your family as there are no vulgar scenes and all. Must Watch!!!
