Satyaprem Ki Katha box office collection day 3: After a dip on Friday, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani ‘s SPKK saw a spike on Saturday, earning more than its opening numbers.
Directed by Sameer Vidwan, the film has released on Eid (Thursday) and collected Rs 9.25 crores and Rs 7 crores on its first and second day, respectively.
Satyaprem Ki Katha is the sixth-highest opener of the year after Pathaan (Rs 57 crores), Adipurush (Rs 37.25 crores), KKBKKJ (Rs 15.81 crores), TJMM (Rs 15.73 crores) and Bholaa (Rs 11.20 crores).
However, on Day 3, it made up for lost ground with a good Saturday collection. The collections were the highest of the three days as it collected around Rs 10.10 crores in a single day, hence taking the total to around Rs 26.35 crores at the domestic box office.
Along with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, Satyaprem Ki Katha also stars actors Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles.
Last year, Kartik-Kiara’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 emerged as a major hit, with around Rs 185 crore at the domestic box office.
