Satyaprem Ki Katha box office collection day 2: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer SPKK has recorded a positive trend on its second day at the box office. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav and others in pivotal roles.
On the opening day, SPKK opened on a slow note on Thursday morning. After the noon shows, it reported a boost in mass centres due to Eid holiday and registered a decent opening with Rs 9.25 crores nett at the domestic box office, which is the 6th-highest opening in Bollywood of the year 2023.
On Friday being a normal working day, this romantic drama witness a little dropped and minted an amount of Rs 7 crores nett. With this, Satyaprem Ki Katha collected a 2-day total of Rs 16.25 crores nett from around 2000 screens across India.
The romantic film reunites Kartik and Kiara after their 2022 hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film was earlier titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha but was renamed as Satyaprem Ki Katha to avoid controversy.
