The trailer of Nakhrewaalii has been released, offering a mix of humour, romance and a quirky ‘Womantic’ take on romantic comedies. With relationship chaos, witty exchanges and unconventional characters at its centre, the film explores love, expectations and the dynamics of modern relationships.
The trailer delves into how men perceive love and the preferential treatment they believe women receive. It also highlights the double standards some men follow when it comes to the women they date and those they consider marrying. What begins as a clash of perspectives on love gradually develops into a romantic story, exploring the lengths one might go to win over the person they love. Along the way, the film uses humour to raise questions about gender biases and expectations within relationships.
The trailer follows the unveiling of the film’s poster earlier this week, which drew attention for its quirky tagline, “Kabhi Pyaar Mein Majnu Ko Bhi Laila Banna Padta Hai.” Building on the curiosity generated by the poster, the trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s unusual premise and its playful take on romance.
Starring newcomers Ansh Duggal and Pragati Srivastava, Nakhrewaalii is directed by Rahul Shanklya. The film is produced by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow, led by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. Blending romance and humour, the film explores the complexities of relationships through its distinctive take on the familiar Majnu-Laila dynamic.
