Director Kabir Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Kartik Aaryan’s next sports drama has finally gets a titled – Chandu Champion. The film based on the real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) shared the title and release date of the movie on Twitter. They wrote, “#SajidNadiadwala & @kabirkhankk present a True story of a man who refused to surrender!#ChanduChampion starring @TheAaryanKartik Releasing on 14th June 2024 💥 @WardaNadiadwala”.
As per reports by a leading entertainment portal, a source revealed that Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala feel that the title of the film is suitable as it complements the character’s journey. The title is both unusual and reminiscent of Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s actions in 2005. The director and producer are trying to generate interest in the film by encouraging discussions about its title.
It has been reported that Chandu Champion, a sports drama, will be filmed over the course of the next six months. Although the exact release date has not been determined yet, it is anticipated to be shown in theatres in June 2024.
The source stated, “Though the film is a sports drama on the outlook of things, there are many elements that require good VFX, and hence, Kabir will be keeping a good amount of time for the post-production. Both Kabir and Sajid are confident that the film will be a landmark in their career.”
Chandu Champion also brings back Kartik Aaryan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala together after the success of their recently released film Satyaprem Ki Katha.
