Jaat 1st day box office collection: The much-anticipated action drama “Jaat”, starring Sunny Deol in a powerful comeback role, stormed into theatres nationwide and delivered an impressive performance on its opening day.
Audience reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising Sunny Deol’s fiery performance and the film’s emotionally charged action scenes. Critics also appreciated the film’s rustic tone, punchy dialogues, and nostalgic ‘90s-style storytelling—making it a crowd-pleaser, especially for fans of classic action cinema.
Released on over 2,500 screens across India, “Jaat” witnessed massive footfall in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, and parts of Rajasthan—regions where the title and story deeply resonate with the local culture and pride. In these territories, several shows were sold out in advance, and many theatres reported houseful status for evening and night shows.
According to early trade estimates, “Jaat” earned approximately Rs 9.62 crore on its first day at the Indian box office. This includes both single screens and multiplexes, with an overwhelming 75% occupancy in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the movie also starring Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan and Jagapathi Babu in important roles and is produced by the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers.
