Gadar 2 box office collection day 45: Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has entered in its seventh week and still managing to attract the audience in the theatre. Despite having highly buzzed Jawan in the opposite, this Hindi-period drama is getting considerable response across the country.
In the opening week, Anil Sharma’s directorial reported the business of Rs 284.63 crores. Then with usual drops in footfalls, it bagged the amount of Rs 134.47 crores in the second, Rs 63.35 crores in the third, Rs 27.55 crores in the fourth, Rs 7.28 crores in the fifth and Rs 4.72 crores in the sixth week.
After 6 successful weeks, Gadar 2 is running in the 7th week and once again showed little growth over the weekend. On 7th Friday, it did the business of Rs 0.40 crores nett.
On the next day i.e. 7th Saturday, Gadar 2 took a jump and registered the business of Rs 0.55 crore. Then on 7th Sunday, it raked the business of Rs 0.70 crore and raised its 45 days total collection to Rs 523.65 crores at domestic box office.
‘Gadar 2’ is a sequel to the critically acclaimed ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reprised their legendary roles as Tara and Sakeena in the film. The film also includes Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, and Simratt Kaur in significant roles.
