Gadar 2 box office collection day 42: After the 5 blockbuster weeks, the sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Gadar 2 has passed its 6th week on a steady note despite having the newly released Jawan in the opposite.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 opened to a humongous note and raked the business of Rs 284.63 crores by remaining strong throughout the opening week. In the second week as well, the movie showed strong performance and did the business of Rs 134.47 crores.
Then with usual drop in footfalls, Zee Studios’ presentation garnered the business of Rs 63.35 crores in its third week. With the further decline, it bagged the amount of Rs 27.55 crores in the fourth and Rs 7.28 crores in its fifth week from Indian screens.
Gadar 2: The Katha Continues did the business of Rs 2.72 crores in the 6th weekend which included Rs 0.55 crore on Friday, Rs 0.95 crores on Saturday & Rs 1.22 crores on Sunday. Then on weekdays as well, it remained steady and minted the amount of Rs 0.50 crore on 6th Monday, Rs 0.60 crore on 6th Tuesday and Rs 0.45 crore on 6th Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. 6th Thursday, Gadar 2 has raked the business of Rs 0.45 crore and raised its 6 weeks total collection to Rs 522 crores nett.
