Gadar 2 box office collection day 38: Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 has left us all amazed with its continuing run at the box office despite a very tough competition from biggie Jawan.
Being the sequel to 2001’s blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Gadar 2 opened to a humongous note and raked the business of Rs 284.63 crores by remaining strong throughout the opening week. In the second week as well, the movie showed strong performance and did the business of Rs 134.47 crores.
Then with usual drop in footfalls, Anil Sharma’s directorial garnered the business of Rs 63.35 crores in its third week. With the further decline, it bagged the amount of Rs 27.55 crores in the fourth and Rs 7.28 crores in its fifth week from Indian screens.
Once again, Gadar 2: The Katha Continues has enjoyed the weekend on a steady note. In its sixth weekend, Zee Studio and Anil Sharma production and MM Movies’ production collected the amount of Rs 0.55 crore on Friday and Rs 0.95 crore on Saturday.
Then on Sunday as well, it managed to maintain the pace and minted the amount of Rs 1.22 crore. With this, the total collection of Gadar 2 has become Rs 520 crores at domestic box office.
