Gadar 2 box office collection day 35: Anil Sharma’s directorial Gadar 2 dominated the box office charts for more than a month after its release on August 11. While the film has showed a slight sign of slowing down, it still continues bringing audience to theatres.
Sunny Deol’s blockbuster Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is still running well. In the last 4 weeks, it did the business of Rs 284.63 in the first week, Rs 134.47 crores in the second, Rs 63.35 crores in the third week & Rs 27.55 crores in the fourth week.
In the fifth weekend, Hindi period action drama had scored Rs 5.03 crores with Rs 1.05 crore on Friday, Rs 1.85 crores on Saturday & Rs 2.13 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, it has managed to collect Rs 0.60 crore on Monday, Rs 0.60 crore on Tuesday, Rs 0.55 crore on Wednesday & Rs 0.50 crore on Thursday. After 5 weeks, its total collection has become Rs 517.28 crores nett.
Just like the first instalment, Gadar 2 also emerged as an all-time blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema, with very high returns coming in. Produced by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Production, its also features Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur.
