Dunki box office collection day 4: Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial ‘Dunki’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani in lead roles, performed decently at the box office. Dunki, at the global box office, has collected Rs 157.22 crore.
Amid the high excitement of fans, Dunki was released on Thursday and expectedly took a good start in the morning. Post noon shows, it had picked up well and registered the 7th best opening of the year by collecting Rs 29.20 crores. On the second day i.e. Friday, the comedy-drama was affected by the release of Salaar and collected 20.12 crores.
On Saturday, Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios and Rajkumar Hirani Films’ production had recorded a good jump in footfalls and did the business of Rs 25.61 crores. Then on Sunday, with further growth, the film had bagged the amount of 30.70 crores and raised its opening weekend total collection to Rs 105.63 crores.
Dunki is a heartwarming tale of four friends and their quest to reach foreign shores. It charts the arduous yet life-changing journey they are about to undertake to make their dreams come true.
