Dunki box office collection day 2: Shah Rukh Khan’s latest family drama Dunki is on a roll at the box office. Directed by Raj Kumar Hirani, the film also stars Taapsee Pannu. The film hit the screens on December 21 and is receiving praise from everyone.
Produced by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films, the comedy flick that opened at Rs 29.20 crore on Thursday holds well on its second day.
As per the report, Dunki has collected Rs 20.12 crore nett on Friday, which takes the two-days number close to Rs 49.32 crore nett at the domestic box office.
The upcoming Christmas weekend stands crucial for the film. If it fails to perform over the weekend, finding a footing in cinema halls until the New Year weekend would be tough for the movie.
The comedy-drama is based on the illegal immigration technique, Donkey Flights. Shah Rukh Khan is seen in the leading role of Hardy, while Taapsee Pannu plays Manu. Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani are also seen in pivotal roles.
