Anupam Kher is stepping behind the camera once again—and this time, he’s bringing a story packed with emotion, courage, and a fresh face to Indian cinema. The veteran actor has officially announced that his directorial film ‘Tanvi The Great’ will hit theatres on July 18, 2025.
Sharing the first look on social media, Kher wrote, “ANNOUNCEMENT; They called her different, but she never saw that as a weakness. While the world tried to fit her into boxes, she chose to break them, one by one. #TanviTheGreat is a reminder that being different doesn’t make you less, it makes you unstoppable.🔥 Unveiling the first poster of Tanvi The Great – a story of strength, dreams, and unstoppable courage. ✨Meet Tanvi in cinemas on 18th July.”
Tanvi The Great boasts a powerful ensemble cast including that of Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Naseer, and debutant Shubhangi.
Directed by Anupam Kher, with music by Oscar-winner M.M. Keeravani, the film is produced by Anupam Kher Studios and NFDC, in association with Lower Middle Class Corporation.
