Following the phenomenal success of her romantic drama Saiyaara, which catapulted her to nationwide fame, rising actress Aneet Padda is demonstrating a remarkable commitment to her education. Before stepping into the highly anticipated world of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), Padda is heading back to the classroom to complete her final-year college examinations.
According to a recent report by NDTV, the young actor, currently completing her B.A. (Honours) in Political Science, will begin shooting for Shakti Shalini early next year. The film is being developed under Maddock Films, as part of the popular Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe (MHCU), which previously delivered hits like Stree and Bhediya.
A source close to the actor shared, “It’s inspiring how Aneet is managing everything so gracefully. Despite being a national sensation, she remains committed to her education. Her team is carefully structuring her schedule so she can focus on her exams while meeting professional commitments.”
An insider adds, “Aneet has an incredible work ethic. She has shown that success hasn’t changed her focus. Balancing college life and stardom isn’t easy, but she’s proving it’s possible with discipline and passion.”
Padda is set to appear for these crucial college exams in December and January. Only once this final academic hurdle is cleared will she transition fully into her next major film project.
Filming for Shakti Shalini is expected to commence in early 2026, with a tentative theatrical release set for December 24, 2026. The project marks a major step for Aneet, signaling her arrival in Bollywood’s big-budget league.
