Adipurush box office collection day 2: After a humongous opening at box office, Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush (Hindi) has maintained its performance on its day 2. While in South India, the film has witnessed a usual drop but still managed to stay strong despite mixed reaction.
Directed by Om Raut, epic mythological action film has unexpectedly got failed to convince many critics and received negative reviews due to its VFX, dialogues, appearance of characters and much more. The film, in all languages, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, earned over Rs 140 crore gross worldwide on Friday.
On Friday, the Hindi version of Adipurush took a terrific start and registered the 2nd best opening of the year so far with Rs 37.25 crores after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan Rs 55 crores in Hindi.
On the next day i.e. Saturday, T-Series Films and Retrophiles’ production has remained rock-strong and managed to collect the amount of 37 crores. After 2 days, the total collection of the film has become 74.25 crores nett at the domestic box office.
While from the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions, Adipurush raked Rs 77.75 crores in the first two days with Rs 49.50 crores on Friday and Rs 28.25 crores on Saturday.
