The much-anticipated romantic film starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela is all set to arrive in cinemas on April 30, 2027. The makers officially announced the release date on social media, building excitement around the upcoming project directed by Anurag Basu.
Sharing the announcement, T-Series wrote, “A new story which will stay in your heart is ready to unfold on the big screen,” along with the release date and the names of the lead actors. The film is currently untitled, with the makers yet to reveal its official name.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the T-Series banner, the film features music composed by Pritam. The collaboration has generated interest among audiences, particularly because it brings together Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela for the first time on screen.
The project also marks Sreeleela’s Bollywood debut. The actress, who has predominantly worked in South Indian cinema, gained wider recognition among Hindi-speaking audiences following her appearance in the song ‘Kissik’ from Pushpa 2.
While the makers have kept the storyline and other details under wraps, the film is expected to explore a new cinematic narrative under Anurag Basu’s direction. The director is known for his distinctive storytelling style, making the upcoming project one to watch as more details emerge.
There had also been speculation about Kartik Aaryan’s association with the Aashiqui franchise. However, the upcoming film is not part of the franchise. It has also been linked to the reported title Tu Meri Zindagi Hai, though no official title has been confirmed by the makers so far.
With its theatrical release scheduled for April 30, 2027, the film will bring a fresh on-screen pairing to audiences. Fans can now look forward to further announcements regarding the title, first look, music and other details in the months leading up to its release.
