Actor Celina Jaitly is set to make her comeback to the big screen with filmmaker Anil Sharma’s upcoming film Arjun Naga. The actor, who has been navigating a challenging phase in her personal life, announced the new project on social media, expressing excitement about this fresh beginning.
Celina will share screen space with Arjun Rampal, Utkarsh Sharma and Randeep Hooda in the film. The actor shared a picture with Anil Sharma from Mumbai’s Film City and sought blessings for her new journey.
Announcing the project, Celina wrote, “By the blessings of Mumba Devi, super elated and looking forward to be directed by the one & only legend @anilsharma_dir ji … I seek your blessings for this new beginning with our film #ArjunNaga, alongside the fabulous Arjun Rampal, @iutkarsharma & @randeephooda.”
She also thanked DCA Talent and casting director Parag Mehta for the opportunity, describing the project as a new beginning.
The announcement comes amid a difficult period in Celina’s personal life. In September 2025, her husband, Peter Haag, filed for divorce. Celina returned to Mumbai the following month and has since filed for custody of their three children, Winston, Viraaj and Arthur.
With Arjun Naga, Celina is preparing to return to theatrical cinema after a long hiatus. Her last theatrical release was the 2011 comedy Thank You, directed by Anees Bazmee.
While further details about Arjun Naga are awaited, Celina’s association with Anil Sharma and the ensemble cast marks a new chapter in her film career.
