Salman Khan’s upcoming action entertainer SVC63, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is steadily building a strong ensemble cast. Veteran actors Jackie Shroff and Rahul Dev are already attached to the project, while Chak De! India actress Sagarika Ghatge has now joined the cast, adding another familiar face to the highly anticipated film.

The untitled film, which is being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, stars Salman Khan alongside Nayanthara. The project marks the first on-screen collaboration between Salman and Nayanthara and is currently being filmed in Mumbai.
Jackie Shroff and Rahul Dev Add to the Action Ensemble
Jackie Shroff recently came on board the Vamshi Paidipally directorial. Despite speculation surrounding his role, reports indicate that Shroff will not be the film’s principal villain. Instead, Rahul Dev and other actors are expected to play antagonistic characters in the action-driven narrative.
Shroff’s addition reunites him with Salman Khan, with the two actors having previously shared the screen in films including Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye and Veer. His presence brings another veteran performer to an already star-heavy project.
Sagarika Ghatge Makes a Comeback
Sagarika Ghatge, widely recognised for playing Preeti Sabharwal in Chak De! India, has now joined the Mumbai shooting schedule of SVC63. While her casting has been confirmed, the makers are keeping her character and role details under wraps.
Her inclusion marks an exciting addition to the film and comes as the production continues to expand its ensemble. Ghatge has maintained a relatively low profile in mainstream cinema in recent years, making her return to a major commercial project particularly noteworthy.
SVC63 brings together Salman Khan and Nayanthara for the first time. Vamshi Paidipally, known for films including Maharshi and Varisu, is directing the project, with Dil Raju backing the film.
The current Mumbai schedule reportedly includes major action portions. The production has also recreated an Afghan village at a studio in Film City, Goregaon, allowing the team to film sequences set in Afghanistan without travelling there.
With Salman Khan, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Rahul Dev and Sagarika Ghatge now associated with the project, SVC63 is shaping up as a large-scale action entertainer that brings together performers from different corners of Indian cinema.
