Speaking about her co-star, Jaiswal said, “Sunny Deol sir is super sweet. He acts so effortlessly, and I used to think he would be as strict and intimidating as his characters. But he is different in real life. He is calm. He is not intimidating and makes you feel at ease. He is super gentle, soft-spoken and respectful. These are the qualities I admire about him. You imagine a certain personality when you think of superstars, but he is very different.”

Talking about Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak, Jaiswal said, “The film is actually a crime thriller. It’s a wonderful story. When I first heard it, it was an instant ‘yes’ because, since I started my career, I’ve wanted to be part of good stories. This story will connect and resonate with people. It is the kind of film that is interesting. The suspense is great. It’s worth the wait. This is also a film in a genre that Sunny (Deol) sir hasn’t done in a very long time. This will be an interesting role for him as well. As for me, I have a super cute character.”

Directed by M. Padmakumar in his Hindi directorial debut, Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak is an official remake of the 2018 Malayalam crime thriller Joseph. The film stars Sunny Deol as a retired police officer who investigates disturbing revelations involving medical malpractice and systemic corruption following a personal tragedy. The supporting cast includes Ravi Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal, Manish Wadhwa and Jisshu Sengupta.

Produced by Kamal Mukut, the film is scheduled to release theatrically on November 20, 2026. The IMA’s objections have brought attention to the film’s portrayal of healthcare workers ahead of its planned release.
