After 11 years since the triumph of Oh My God, Akshay Kumar is set to delight audiences once again with the sequel, Oh My God 2, a social comedy that promises to entertain and engage viewers. On July 3rd, the actor has shared new posters of his upcoming film OMG 2.
Akshay, taking it to his Instagram, shared two posts where he showed a glimpse of his character, Lord Shiva. The poster reveals the Khiladi actor having long hair, ash smeared on his forehead, and his neck painted all blue. Along with the poster, Akshay wrote in caption, “बस कुछ दिनों में… #OMG2 in theatres on August 11. Teaser Drops Soon.”
Meanwhile, the Khiladi Kumar also shared the character poster of Pankaj Tripathi. In the poster, can be seen dressed as an innocent man standing in the middle of a crowd with folded hands. Akshay wrote in the caption: “मिलते हैं सच्चाई की राह पर 🙌 #OMG2 in theatres on August 11! Teaser drops soon”.
Directed by Amit Rai, the film also features Yami Gautam, Arun Govil and Aamir Naik in pivotal roles.
The upcoming satirical drama is going to clash with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s ‘Gadar 2: The Katha Continues on August 11th this year’, which is also the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster, ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
