33 Days Collection of Dangal
Superstar Aamir Khan’s recent offering, Dangal has successfully crossed the mark of 380 crores on domestic box office. With this it has become the first movie of Indian cinema to enter in this club after Aamir Khan’s PK and Salman’s Sultan. The sports drama Dangal has received huge support and love from fans as well as audience, which led it to such great height. Aamir Khan starrer, Nitiesh Tiwari’s directorial has been released with humongous buzz across the globe and as expected witnessed phenomenal response in its early weeks.
With time it slowed down but kept maintained a steady pace. Despite new releases, it remained almost unaffected and kept increased its business total with every single day. Dangal released on December 23 last year and even after a month since its release, there is no stopping this film. Dangal has broken quite a few records till now and once again it has achieved another huge feat. In 31 days, Aamir Khan’s movie has managed to cross the Rs 700 crore mark in the worldwide market. Dangal‘s total tally now stands at Rs 709.65 crore (gross) at the worldwide market.
The movie has performed well at both the domestic as well as international box offices. And it is still continuing to rake in the money. At the domestic market, Dangal has earned Rs 509 crore (gross). When you add to this the overseas collection of Rs 200.65 crore, you will realise that the film has made whopping Rs 709.65 crore. But this is not the end of its run! The film is still going strong at the theatres and we expect it to continue its run till Shah Rukh Khan‘s Raees and Hrithik Roshan‘s Kaabil release.
We are positive Dangal will touch the Rs 725 crore mark in its lifetime run at the worldwide market. Now, once again the movie is in weekdays and asusual getting very low response. On Monday, Dangal faced almost 30% of drop than last Friday and did the business of 0.94 crore. Then on Tuesday, it reported almost similar response and added the amount of 1.01 crore to its account.
