Badlapur Sixth Day Box Office Collection
Sriram Raghavan’s “Badlapur” starring Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte is doing great business at the box office. The crime drama, which is going steady at the box office, has earned Rs.30 crore net income from box office. The film has been holding well at the box office since day one and the ticket sales remained unaffected by the ongoing World cup matches. “Badlapur” is Varun’s fourth hit film after “Student of the Year”, “Main Tera Hero” and “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”. The film has performed well and minted decent collections, until now, and in the coming days also the film is expected to remain steady. Meanwhile, in overseas market “Badlpur” is Varun’s second highest grosser. His debut film “Student of the Year” is still at no. 1 position with $1.3 million (Rs.6.95 crore) opening weekend collection. “Badlapur” opening weekend overseas box office collection stands at $1.04 million (Rs.6.46 crore), which is the second highest total for Varun’s film. “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” has the third highest opening weekend collection with $924,000 (Rs.5.55 crore).
Badlapur 6th Day or Wednesday Box Office Business
The film was meant for a niche audience, it is performing its best in the urban centers such as Mumbai, Pune whereas the mass circuits are average. Compared to other 2015 releases such as “Shamitabh” and “Tevar”, “Badlpur” has shown good collections. The film has performed well and minted decent collections, until now, and in the coming days also the film is expected to remain steady. Now, the “Badlapur” had a strong sixth day at the box office. Although the ticket sales dropped on sixth day, it was a normal drop as Wednesday is a working day. “Badlapur” earned about Rs.3.01 crore on Wednesday. The six day total of the film stands at Rs.33.91 crore, while the budget of the film was Rs.25 crore.
