Yoodlee Films Announces Party Animals, Here to Remind You Why Your Group Should Never Be Allowed to Make Plans

There are dumb ideas. There are really dumb ideas. And then there is the night that is Party Animals. Featuring a New Year’s Eve party, cops, goons, a party bus and a drunk horse, this upcoming comedy starring Viraj Ghelani and a fresh ensemble is what happens when a group of friends gets together and decides to have an unforgettable night. No, this isn’t a fever dream after eating questionable street food. It’s Party Animals. Consider this your official warning.

Yoodlee Films Announces Party Animals, Here to Remind You Why Your Group Should Never Be Allowed to Make Plans

Set in Mumbai, Party Animals follows Mann Patel (Viraj Ghelani) and Armaan Khanna (Arjun Tanwar), childhood best friends whose lives have taken different paths. When they reunite on this night out, things take a turn for the worse resulting in romantic complications, petty fights that escalate into full-blown ‘raadas’ and every attempt to fix a problem creates three more.

With Party Animals, Yoodlee Films taps into the spirit of Hollywood hangout comedies like The Hangover, Superbad and 21 Jump Street, bringing that mix of friendship, terrible decisions and escalating chaos to a distinctly Indian setting. Blending contemporary humour, relatable characters and unhinged situations, Party Animals aims to fill a gap in mainstream Hindi cinema with a big-screen comedy designed to be experienced with your gang.

Directed by Ravi Chhabriya and produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar under the banner of Yoodlee Films, Party Animals features an ensemble cast including Pragati Nagpal, Naqiyah Haji, Alam Khan, Saqib Ayub, Kamlesh Sawant, Anil Charanjeett, Aaron Koul, Vijay Patkar and Manoj Joshi. Written by Ali Haji, Khush Mullick and Veer Panchal, the film dives into the chaos of friendship, FOMO, growing up and the spectacularly poor judgement that can come with all three. After all, adulthood may give you freedom, but it absolutely does not guarantee that you’ll use it wisely.

Speaking about the film, Viraj Ghelani says, “Party Animals is a one of a kind movie. It’s a full-on masti film, and I’m really excited for audiences to experience it. It’s packed with friendship, madness and situations that just keep getting crazier. There’s so much energy and relatability in this world, and I can’t wait for everyone to watch it on the big screen.”

Siddharth Anand Kumar adds, “With Party Animals, we wanted to have some fun with the idea of what a film is supposed to be and how it is supposed to talk about itself. The film is unapologetically chaotic, irreverent and very much in on the joke. We’re not going to pretend that every decision these characters make is a good one. In fact, the worse their decisions get, the more fun things become. Sometimes, you just have to let the madness do its thing.”

So, this November 20, leave your group chat alone for a couple of hours and head to the cinemas for Party Animals. Because if you think your friends are capable of making terrible plans, wait till you meet these guys.

Party Animals releases in cinemas on November 20, 2026.
