Yodha box office collection day 1: Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani starrer Yodha was finally released in theatres on Friday. Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film has registered a lower opening than expected.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions, Yodha has managed to entertain many in theatres across the country and gathered a positive word of mouth. From critics also, it has received mostly positive reviews.
On Friday, the film was opened at an ordinary note in the morning. Post noon shows, it took a little growth in multiplexes and registered the opening business of Rs 4.25 crores nett at the domestic box office.
As per the current trend, Yodha is expected to grow over the weekend.
The film is facing tough competition from Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyotika starrer Shaitaan. Shaitaan completed a week in theatres. The film has collected Rs 84.36 crore in India so far.
