Strong Performance Beyond Metro Cities

One of the biggest highlights of the film’s box office run has been its exceptional performance in Tier 2 and Tier 3 centres. While major metropolitan cities witnessed the expected weekday slowdown, smaller markets continued to record impressive occupancy, helping the film post healthy weekday numbers.

The Hindi-speaking belt has emerged as the film’s strongest territory, with family audiences and comedy lovers contributing significantly to its sustained momentum.

Mumbai Collections Affected by Heavy Rainfall

Although the overall performance remained solid, Mumbai witnessed a noticeable dip in footfalls during Wednesday and Thursday due to torrential rainfall. The adverse weather conditions affected theatre attendance across several locations, limiting the film’s business in one of its key markets.

Trade observers believe the collections could have been higher had the weather remained favourable.

Week 2 Presents the Biggest Challenge

The film now enters a crucial second week as fresh competition arrives at the box office. Alpha has released today, while Dhamaal 4 is scheduled to hit theatres next Friday.

The long-term success of Welcome to the Jungle will largely depend on how well it holds its screens and audience share against these new releases. If the film manages to maintain steady collections over the weekend, it could comfortably cross the ₹100 crore mark before beginning its second full week.

Star-Studded Ensemble Cast

Directed by Ahmed Khan and written by Neeraj Vora, Welcome to the Jungle is produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, Rakesh Dang, and Vedant Vikaas Baali under Base Industries Group, Cape of Good Films, and Seeta Films.

The film features one of the biggest ensemble casts in recent Bollywood history, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, and Jackie Shroff.
