Yash Raj Films has dropped a glimpse for the first song from the highly anticipated action sequel War 2, titled “Aavan Jaavan.” With this release, the studio kicks off the musical promotion of the film in full swing, spotlighting the fresh pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in a sweeping romantic sequence.
On July 29th, YRF took their social media handle and wrote, “Get ready for #AavanJaavan: a romantic track that will make you groove! 🕺 #War2 is set to release in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide!”
Along with the photo, Ayan also shared his excitement for the song, which is going to release in two days. He wrote, “AAVAN JAAVAN ❤️💥 Our First Song from War 2 – is out in 2 days – so sharing some love and excitement here about it! Pritam Dada. Amitabh. Arijit. Hrithik and Kiara’s lovely energy as they come together on screen for the first time.”
“Groovy and Romantic – Aavan Jaavan – was the soundtrack for our Italian shoot, and creating it was one of the most joy-filled experiences and memories of making War 2 for all of us! Can’t wait for everyone to listen to it this week 🤞💥,” he added.
Scheduled for full release on July 31, 2025—which also marks Kiara Advani’s birthday—Aavan Jaavan promises to be more than just a romantic track. It’s a visual and emotional throwback, offering a rare glimpse into the personal life of Hrithik’s iconic character, Kabir, and introducing Kiara as the mysterious and elegant Kavya, a central figure in his past.
War 2 also stars Jr NTR, Ashutosh Rana and is slated for a global theatrical release on August 14, 2025.
