Vibe 3rd day box office collection: Kunal Khemu’s latest directorial, Vibe, recorded a decent opening weekend at the box office, with the Hindi action-thriller comedy showing growth over its first three days. The film, which stars Kunal Khemu alongside Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava and newcomer Vanshika Dhir, benefited from a half-price ticket offer running from Friday to Sunday.
Vibe collected Rs 2.25 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 2.80 crore on Saturday. With its Sunday collection of Rs 3.10 crore, Vibe brought its three-day weekend total to approximately Rs 8.15 crore.
Interestingly, Vibe has recorded a slightly higher opening-weekend figure than Kunal Khemu’s directorial debut, Madgaon Express. The 2024 comedy had collected Rs 7.16 crore over its first weekend.
The comparison is notable because Vibe marks Khemu’s second film as a writer-director following Madgaon Express. It also represents his debut as a producer.
The key factor for Vibe will now be its performance on weekdays. After the weekend ticket-price promotion, the film will need to maintain audience interest at regular ticket prices to build a stronger theatrical total.
