The much-awaited Aadarsha Kutumbam: House No. 47, popularly known as AK47, will not be hitting theatres on October 9 as scheduled. Producer S Naga Vamsi confirmed the postponement at a press meet, explaining that the team needs additional time to ensure the film meets its technical standards.

However, the producer said, “Venkatesh garu is in abroad and he is expected to return to the city by Tuesday. After he’s back, I shall discuss with him and decide on the release date. We are yet to confirm when to mount the film’s release.”
Naga Vamsi shared that the delay was prompted by the makers’ desire to offer audiences a better theatrical experience. He added that some post-production work, including sound and final mixing, is still pending. He also ruled out rumours of possible reshoots.
“We wanted to deliver a superior quality product; a film that satisfies all sections of the audiences. It’s a mistake to announce the release without watching the final theatre copy. We have realised that after watching some reels of the movie that having spent so much time and effort, we can’t afford to rush and deliver a substandard product. Perhaps, we should have been more cautious.”
Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Aadarsha Kutumbam stars Venkatesh in the lead role, with Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. The film has already generated interest through its teaser and songs, with Trivikram’s trademark humour evident in the promotional material.
With the next theatrical release date yet to be finalised, the makers are currently focused on completing the remaining work and ensuring that AK47 is presented in its best possible form. A new release date is expected to be announced once the ongoing discussions are concluded.
