Vijay Deverakonda often known for his loverboy roles is all set to take the Internet by storm as the teaser of his upcoming film, VD12 drops on February 12! This is the first time he will be seen transitioning to an intense action genre film post-Arjun Reddy, and it’s truly going to be a delight for his fans!
Sharing the new poster on X, Vijay wrote, “You have all been patient. We have felt your tough love. We are now ready to open our world, our story and all our hearts to you. With a Title and Teaser you will be proud of! #VD12.”
The film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, has been in production for over two years, with a significant portion still left to shoot. Tinnanuri’s extended timeline has heightened anticipation for the project. The film’s background score, composed by Anirudh, is expected to be one of its standout features.
While details about the plot remain under wraps, reports suggest that VD12 will incorporate mythological themes. Bhagyashree Borse, who made her debut in Mr. Bachchan, has been cast as a village belle, adding to the film’s intriguing ensemble.
Vijay, who recently took a short break, is set to resume filming next week.
