The promo for the Kannada surrealist psychological action thriller flick UI has been released by the makers on (December 2). The movie has been directed by Upendra, who also stars in the same in the titular role.
The film is set in a dystopian 2040 era wherein suffering, poverty, and corruption have started plaguing the earth.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, with Reeshma Nanaiah playing the female lead.
The supporting cast includes industry veterans Murali Sharma, P Ravi Shankar, Guruprasad and Nidhi Subbaiah. The technical crew adds further weight to the project, featuring art director Shiva Kumar, known for his work on KGF, and Ajaneesh Loknath as the music composer.
With a budget estimated at Rs 100 crore, UI is bankrolled by Lahari Films, G Manoharan & Venus Entertainers, K P Sreekanth and Co-Produced by Naveen Manoharan.
