Tiger 3 box office collection day 1: Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 has opened to an earth shattering response at the box office. The film is the threequel of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai and also stars Katrina Kaif.
On the opening day, Tiger 3 started the journey with a whopping occupancy of approx. 36% across the country and also witnessed good growth over evening & night shows. As the result, it has raked the business of Rs 44.50 crores (Rs 43 crores from Hindi and Rs 1.50 crores from Telugu & Telugu version) at the domestic box office.
The opening day box office collection of Tiger 3 makes it Salman’s highest opener as Ali Abbas Zafar’s 2019 period drama Bharat (Rs 42.30 crore) and Sooraj Barjatya’s 2015 family drama Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 40.35 crore), which also released on the occasion of Diwali.
The Maneesh Sharma directorial, also starring Emraan Hashmi in pivotal role. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are expected to make cameo appearances in the film.
Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Tiger 3 follows the events of Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan.
