The advance booking for Salman Khan’s most-anticipated film of the year, Tiger 3, has finally opened in India. The film, helmed by Maneesh Sharma, also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles.
As per the latest reports, Tiger 3 outperforms in the three national chains – PVR, Inox & Cinepolis – with 1,02,474 tickets sold for the opening day alone {till Wednesday 9:30 am}. In comparison, Brahmastra had sold 66k tickets three days after the advance bookings opened and Gadar 2 sold 62k tickets.
The third installment of the Tiger franchise is the fifth outing in the YRF spy universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. The sequel of Hrithik Roshan’s film is already in the working while Shah Rukh Khan is busy with Dunki and will need some time before he gets back to his spy role.
Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Film, the film also stars Ranvir Shorey, Kumud Mishra, and Vishal Jethwa, amongst others, will be seen in pivotal roles.
Tiger 3 releases on November 12 in IMAX, 4DX, and other premium formats.
