The Kerala Story box office collection day 10: Adah Sharma starrer continued with its winning streak in the second weekend too. Despite several controversies, The Kerala Story has been receiving a mixed response from the audience.
The Kerala Story revolves around a Hindu woman from Kerala, played by Adah Sharma, who is brainwashed to accept Islam and go to Syria. She is later sent to the ISIS Terrorist Organisation where she is tortured.
The film is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. In the opening week, it did the fantastic business of 81.14 crores nett that included 35.49 crores on weekend and 45.65 crores from weekdays.
The Kerala Story had started the second week at a solid note by collecting the amount of 12.35 crores on 2nd Friday. Over the weekend, it showed healthy growth and minted 19.50 crores on 2nd Saturday & 23.75 crores on 2nd Sunday. After 10 days, its total domestic collection has become 136.74 crores nett.
Along with Adah Sharman, Devadarshini, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani in lead roles.
