After enjoying four week run at the box office, The Kashmir Files seems to be slowing down gradually. Even so, the film has been an epic blockbuster. The Kashmir Files is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the Kashmir insurgency in 1990. It stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi.
Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the Hindi drama has got succeed to entertain many in theatres and gathered a positive word of mouth. In the last 3 weeks, it had registered the business of 238.28 crores with 97.30 crores in the first, 110.03 crores the second and 30.95 crores in the third week.
In the fourth weekend, at a steady note, The Kashmir Files had bagged the amount of 6.75 crores that included 1.50 crore on Friday, 2.25 crore on Saturday & 3 crore on Sunday. Then on weekdays as well, it remained stable despite a normal drop in footfalls.
On 4th Monday, Zee Studios’ production had witnessed a drop and minted the amount of 1 crore. While with more drop on 4th Tuesday, it managed to collect 0.80 crore.
On 4th Wednesday, The Kashmir Files recorded a drop again and bagged the amount of 0.75 crore. On the next day i.e. 4th Thursday, TKF garnered the amount of 0.65 crore and raised its 4 weeks total collection to 248.23 crores at the domestic box office.
