The Kashmir Files’ helmed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and starring Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi and Mithun Chakraborty has managed to hold on despite fresh competition at the box office.
After an excellent start, Zee Studios and Abhishek Agarwal Arts’ production showed super-strong performance throughout the opening week and registered the business of 97.30 crores which included 27.15 crores in the weekend and 70.15 crores on weekdays.
Then in the second week as well, it maintained a tremendous pace and managed to collect the business of 110.03 crores with 70.15 crores in the weekend and 39.88 crores on weekdays. After 2 weeks, the total collection of The Kashmir Files was recorded at 207.33 crores.
On 3rd Friday, it faced a drop of due the release of most-awaited RRR and did the business of 4.50 crores. On 3rd Saturday, it recorded healthy growth and minted the amount of 7.60 crores.
With this, the 16 days total collection of the film has become 219.43 crores nett.
