The Great Indian Family and Sukhee box office collection day 1: Vicky Kaushal’s TGIF and Shilpa Shetty’s Sukhee have taken a slow start at the box office with mixed reactions from the viewers. While, the two weeks back released Jawan started the new week at a strong note.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the family comedy drama took a low start with around 8% occupancy in the morning. Post noon shows, it showed some growth on single screens and managed to rake the opening business of Rs 1.30 crore nett.
Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the Hindi-language family comedy drama features Vicky Kaushal as a religious Hindu man who later discover that he is Muslim by birth, which results in certain unforeseen circumstances.
On the other hand, Shilpa Shetty, Amit Sadh, Dilnaz Irani, Kusha Kapila and Pavleen Gujral starrer Sukhee has also received mixed reviews and unfortunately raked the lowest business. On Friday, Sonal Joshi’s directorial has done the business of Rs 0.25 crore.
