Thamma Trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna Promise a Wild Ride of Vampires, Love, and Laughs

The much-awaited trailer for Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, is finally out. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma is the latest addition to the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following the success of Stree, Stree 2, Bhediya and Munjya.

Thamma Trailer: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna Promise a Wild Ride of Vampires, Love, and Laughs

The two-minute and twenty-four-second trailer teases a thrilling vampire love story between Ayushmann and Rashmika. It opens with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a menacing role as Thamma, who reveals his plan to turn humans into vampires and create an unstoppable army to rule the world. However, his plan is foiled, and he is captured and imprisoned in a cave for 1,000 years.

The story takes a dramatic turn when Ayushmann’s character unexpectedly encounters Thamma, leading to his transformation into a vampire. Rashmika then makes her entry, seen carrying Ayushmann on her back — hinting at her own supernatural prowess.

The trailer showcases Ayushmann embracing his vampire abilities, performing gravity-defying stunts like leaping between buildings and hurling cars with ease. Amidst the action, the film also highlights a budding romance between the lead pair, with moments of emotional connection and intense battles against Nawazuddin’s dark forces.

Paresh Rawal also makes an appearance, delivering his signature comic timing with subtle, well-placed humor, adding a lighter touch to the horror-action mix.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, Thamma is written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara. The film is set to hit theatres this Diwali 2025.
