Thamma opened impressively on Tuesday with Rs 25.11 crore, followed by Rs 19.23 crore on Wednesday, Rs 14.45 crore on Thursday, and Rs 12.66 crore on Friday. On Saturday, the film picked up momentum again, collecting Rs 16 crore, taking its total five-day collection to Rs 87.45 crore. On the other hand, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat started on a comparatively modest but stable note. It earned Rs 10.10 crore on Tuesday, Rs 8.88 crore on Wednesday, Rs 7.10 crore on Thursday, and Rs 6.41 crore on Friday. Both films are performing well within their respective zones. With positive audience feedback and strong weekend trends, Sunday is expected to bring another boost to their collections.

If the growth continues, Thamma is likely to cross the Rs 100 crore mark soon, while Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat may comfortably enter the Rs 50 crore club by the end of its first week.
