Thamma and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat 4th day collection: The box office clash between the big-budget horror-comedy ‘Thamma’ and the romantic drama ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ continued into its fourth day, Friday, with ‘Thamma’ maintaining its lead despite a sharp post-festive dip, while ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ showed a resilient hold for a film of its scale.

Thamma opened on a powerful note, collecting Rs 25.11 crore on Tuesday, marking one of the biggest starts in recent weeks. The film maintained a solid grip with Rs 19.23 crore on Wednesday, followed by Rs 14.45 crore on Thursday. On Friday, it managed to earn Rs 12.66 crore, showing a steady hold despite weekday drops. With this, Thamma’s total collection stands at a strong Rs 71.45 crore in four days.
On the other hand, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat had a comparatively moderate start but held its own through the week. The romantic drama collected Rs 10.10 crore on Tuesday, Rs 8.88 crore on Wednesday, Rs 7.10 crore on Thursday, and Rs 6.41 crore on Friday. This brings its four-day total to Rs 32.49 crore, which is a decent performance considering the competition.
Overall, Thamma is clearly leading the box office race with nearly double the earnings of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. However, both films have found their respective audiences — Thamma appealing to the mass crowd, while Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat continues to draw in the youth and romance-loving viewers.
With the weekend ahead, the performance of both films on Saturday and Sunday will be crucial in determining their lifetime runs, but as of now, Thamma remains the front-runner at the box office.
