On Thursday, the makers announced that the film has been titled Mirai which means ‘future’. The title logo is designed in a Japanese font. The first look poster sees Teja Sajja in his ‘Super Yodha’ avatar with a Yo (Staff Stick) in his hand, standing on top of an erupting volcano with an eclipse in the background. Going by the fierce look, audiences can expect the film to have intense action. TG Vishwa Prasad, who is very passionate about filmmaking, is bankrolling the movie on a large scale with a promise to feature top-notch production and maintain high technical standards.

As for the recently released glimpse, we hear that it is intended to portray the backstory of the movie. Sources reveal that the film is based on King Ashoka and his secret nine. After the Kalinga War, which remains a bad mark in history for Ashoka, the emperor formed a secret society of nine warriors who are recruited and protect the world for generations. However, an eclipse aims to destroy this club and a birth of a unique ‘yodha’ is expected to save them from getting completely eliminated. With the story having a historic touch, Teja Sajja is introduced as a Super Yodha who is there to stop the eclipse from reaching the Secret 9 of Ashoka.

Sources also state that filmmaker Karthik Gattamneni has done intense work on pre-production, production, and post-production. “He excels in Karra Samu (stick fight), and other forms of fights. He fits the bill perfectly as Super Yodha and has come up with an excellent performance,” added the source close to the production house. Ritika Nayak has been roped to play the role of the female lead.

Karthik Gattamneni will also be handling the cinematography along with the screenplay and Manibabu Karanam writing the dialogues. With Sri Nagendra Tangala as the art director, Gowra Hari has come on board for the background score. Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer, Krithi Prasad is the Creative Producer, and Sujith Kumar Kolli is the Executive Producer.

The makers through the glimpse have announced the release of Mirai in multi-languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, and Chinese languages on April 18, 2025 in 2D and 3D versions, exactly a year later.
